Our research

At the David Lab, we’re pushing the boundaries of genomics, nutrition, microbiology, and more. Through a DNA sequencing process we call FoodSeq, we can identify the foods people eat, spanning more than 800 plant and animal species. Our research has the potential to reshape how we think about dietary interventions, public health, disease and treatment strategies, the gut microbiome, and global food systems.
